How much does it cost?

extra-fresh charge from £10.00 per hour for homes in Peterborough. It’s as simply as that, there are no
hidden charges or costs.

How do I pay?

For regular cleaning in Peterborough the standard charge is £10.00 per hour, £6.70 goes to your
cleaner and £3.30 is our fee. You pay the cleaner with cash on the day the service is provided and you
pay extra-fresh by standing order. So for example: You have 2 hours cleaning every week, so each
week you pay your cleaner £13.40 (2hrs x £6.70 per hr = £13.40). extra-fresh's fee would be collected
once a month by standing order, which for the example above would be £28.60 (2hrs per week x
£3.30 x 52 week per year / 12 months = £28.60).

One off cleaning service may require a deposit payable to the Company in advance. The remaining
or full balance must be paid by cash, cheque via the cleaning operative before the operative leaves
the Client’s premises.

How can I trust your cleaners?

Our interview and vetting procedures help us ensure all our staff are dependable, discreet, trustworthy
and friendly. We take this responsibility very seriously, because our customers’ peace of mind is of the
highest priority here at extra-fresh.

How long will each clean take?

This depends on a number of factors: size of rooms; number of rooms; how many ornaments, pictures
etc there are. As a rough guide we say a deep clean of a 2-bedroom house will take 2-3 hours, a deep
clean of a 3-bedroom house 3-4 hours, a deep clean of a 4-bedroom house takes about 4-5 hours and
so on. You can also request that our cleaners are there for any amount of time you desire (minimum 2
hours per week), so if you only require them for 2 hours or you need them for 5 hours, then your wish is
our command! After your home has been extra-fresh’ed once, that price and consistency of cleaning
will remain the same week in week out!

What about access to my home?

You can provide extra-fresh with a key to your home. The key will be treated with the care and security it
deserves, and it will be stored and handled with control and discretion at all times. Alternatively, if you
wish to be at home when our cleaners are there then that’s ok too!

Are you insured?
We certainly are! To provide our customers with complete peace of mind, all the cleaning services that
extra-fresh offer are fully insured for accidental damage over £250.

Do extra-fresh cleaners use their own cleaning products?

Not usually, because our customers prefer to specify which products are used in their homes. However,
we can supply cleaning products if required. This would incur an additional charge of £1.50 per hour.

What training do you provide to your team members?

All our team members are fully trained in hygiene colour coding, ensuring that different cloths are used in
different areas of your home - WC only (red cloth), baths, sinks and showers (yellow cloth), kitchen
(green cloth), furniture (blue cloth). All our team members are also given guidance on the safe use of
potentially hazardous cleaning chemicals to avoid damage to interior surfaces, and for their own
protection and that of your family. All we ask is that you instruct our team member in the operation
and safe use of your own equipment (eg vacuum cleaners, floor polishers etc)

If there is a problem, who can I call?

Simply contact our office – either by phone or email – and we’ll work with the cleaner to quickly correct the
problem. If you’re not happy then neither are we, because we always want happy customers at extra-fresh!

What makes extra-fresh different from other cleaning companies?

best possible cleaning service, and we do everything in our power to make sure that happens. You’re not

What is the difference between extra-fresh and a housekeeper or independent
cleaning person?

extra-fresh services are fully insured, so you are protected against theft, accidental breakage or cleaning
accidents inside your home. Many independent cleaners may not have suitable insurance or they may have
none at all. We will also collect regular customer satisfaction information to help ensure our extra-fresh clients always receive the best possible service.

What if I have pets?

We know that pets are treasured members of any home. We also know that having non-family members in their world can cause a certain amount of anxiety. For the safety and wellbeing of our staff and your pets, we ask that pets be kept in an area that will keep them happy and secure.
